Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is planning to visit to Cambodia today. This information was announced by Mr Thaksin's associates, Noppadon Pattama.

Noppadon said Thaksin menghubugi himself on Thursday at 15.00 local time yesterday when it confirmed Thaksin not to visit Cambodia on today through Sunday after visiting Japan.

Noppadon dismissed reports that Thaksin will discuss the issue of oil sale and purchase agreement between Thailand and Cambodia.

"Thaksin understand the conditions in Thailand and he did not want to be the target of attacks from opposition parties,
Thaksin also did not want to disturb and worry about the Thai Government sister, Yingluck Shinawatra who is currently leading the country.

Yet Thaksin wanted to see the Thai government take action to help the community.

When asked when Thaksin would return to Thailand, he would answer back when the time is right.

Thaksin is currently a fugitive as a result of corruption scandals. He fled the country, however, get a special visa from the Japanese. Earlier, Thaksin also briefly stated, every place he visited was the house.
